On behalf of the entire school community of Coláiste Chríost Rí, Principal Pádraig Mac An Rí congratulated past pupil, Micheál Martin TD on his election as Taoiseach of the 35th Government of Ireland.
Following the announcement, Mr. Mac An Rí offered congratulations to An Taoiseach Micheál Martin, his wife Mary, his family, supporters and friends. He continued, “We are immensely proud of the Taoiseach’s longstanding and close connections to our school and honoured that he so graciously acknowledges the role Coláiste Chríost Rí and its teachers played in nurturing his passion for history, debate, active citizenship, sport and the Irish language. As teachers, we work daily to continue that legacy by inspiring young minds.
