There has always been an appreciation for music at Coláiste Chríost Rí and this tradition is being enhanced by the introduction of music classes in fourth year.

During these six week modules the students learn various aspects of music through the learning of the ukulele and drums. At the end of each six week module the students then perform various songs for their classmates.

The tradition of music in Coláiste Chríost Rí can also be found with its traditional music group. This group meets regularly during lunch and perform at many events, including the First Year Mass, the Lord Mayor’s visit, the Open Night etc.
