All- Ireland Maths Champions
We've done it again!
CCRí students are the best at Maths in Ireland. Our team of Kyle Malone, Paul Ryan, Cathal Hourihan and Chris Mintern beat 15 other teams who had qualified through regional qualifiers to win the George Boole Cup. The final was held at the University of Limerick last weekend. The win is the latest in a series of successes for the Cork school. Congratulations to maths teachers Dave Mahony and Susan O' Connell.

Celebrity chef to visit CCR
Celebrity chef Neven Maguire wil host a cookery demonstration for CCRí on Wednesday April 25th 2012 at the Rochestown Park Hotel in Cork. Ticket are €20 with the proceeds going to the school's Horticulture project. Secure your seat now! Phone: 021-4274904
Recent Successes
What a month! Críost Rí teams have won the All-Ireland Science Quiz, the Team Math competition and the UCC Electronic Engineering Quiz. It was the third year in a row that the Capwell students won the latter. In addition Liam Hurley, a 5th Year student has qualified for the Rotary All-Irelad Young Chef competition.
On the sports field CCRí has won the best all-round team in the Munster Atheltics competition. They will now go forward to the All-Ireland.
Críost Rí Tops Again
Coláiste Chríost Rí has done it again! In the 2011 leaving Certificate one of its 6th Year students, Stephen O' Brien, score 8 A1s. Only 10 students out of 58,000 in Ireland achieved the same feat. Stephen featured in all the national newspapers and also appeared on television. Well done to Stephen and his excellent teachers.
Overall the Críost Rí result were very impressive with school scoring well above the National average.
CCR Tops in Chemistry
While our athletes were dominating the south Munster Track and Field championships, our senior students came out best in the annual Pfizer Chemistry quiz. Well done to all.
Athletics News
Congratulations to our Track and Field athletes who won the 'Best All-round School' at the South Munster Championships this week. CCR had the best Junior and best Intermediate teams and this coupled to other good results meant , once again, CCR were the best team of the championships.
CCRí Munster Champions
Yes. CCRí has done it. Our senior footballers are Munster Champions having beaten Pobail Scoil an Daingean by 1-12 to 1-7 in KIllarney.
The semi-final of the All-Ireland is scheduled to take place on Saturday 26th March against the Connaught champions.
Corn Uí Mhuirí Final
The final of the Munster Schools A Grade Senior Football Championship will take place on Sunday 6th March at 2.30pm in Dr. Crokes pitch in Killarney, Co. Kerry.

CCRí March On to Munster Final
In a thrilling semi final at Knocknagree today CCRí Senior Footballers booked their place in the Corn Uí Mhuirí final. The 1-11 to 1-9 victory means that Turner's will meet Dingle in the Final on March 6th (venue to be decided). Come On Lads!!
Basketball Success
Well done to the CCRí Under-19 Basketball team which finished 3rd in the Al-Ireland series today. Great result for their first year in the league!

Munster Senior Football Semi-Final
Críost Rí meet Tralee CBS in the Semi-final of the Corn Uí Mhuirí at Knocknagree on Sunday 13th February 2011 at 2.30. All Welcome.
Drive to Rathmore and then to Knocknagree.
Good Luck also to our Under -19 Basketball team who trvel to Carlow on Sunday for the semi-final of the All-Ireland Basketball Championship.
